Welcome to Bike Donut, the UK's dedicated place for buying and selling bikes and other cycling items. We've created a simple, easy to use and accessible place for anyone to either sell some preloved gear or buy their next whip.

Looking to sell your pride and joy? Want to get rid of some preloved kit? Or maybe even just looking to shift those spare parts you have hanging around?

 

How to list an item:

1) Create your free account or sign in to your existing account

2) Click on 'List an item' at the top of the homepage

3) Choose your category, enter a title for what you are selling and hit 'Create & continue'

4) Choose and enter your item information, location, images and price and shipping and hit 'Publish' when you're ready

5) Choose your listing type*, enter your payment information and hit 'Checkout'

6) You're all done! Your listing will be reviewed and you'll be notified as soon as it's been approved and live on the site

 

What information is required to sell an item?

The more information you can enter, the better chance you have of selling, however to create a new listing we require a listing title, the condition, a location (can be approximate), at least three images, a price and a shipping method.

 

How long does it take for a listing to be approved?

We normally approve items within an hour, however this process can take up to 24 hours depending on time and day.

 

*What is the difference between a 'Standard' listing and a 'Premium' listing?

A standard listing will appear across the website and be searchable to anyone. A premium listing also includes a 'Featured' label making the listing stand out more, which is visible on the homepage and when browsing / searching for items. Each premium listing will also appear in the 'Featured Listings' section on the homepage.

There's plenty of extra choice and good value to be had buying items privately, which is why we've made it as easy as possible to find the item you're looking for.

You can either browse our listings, filtering by relevant categories to find what you're looking for, or you can create a custom request.

 

How to request an item:

1) Create your free account or sign in to your existing account

2) Click on 'Request an item' at the top of the homepage

3) Choose your category, enter a title for what you are looking for and hit 'Create & continue'

4) Choose and enter some more information, location, budget and preferred shipping and hit 'Publish' when you're ready

5) Confirm your request, enter your payment information and hit 'Checkout'

6) You're all done! Your request  will be reviewed and you'll be notified as soon as it's been approved and live on the site

 

What if I don't want to request an item?

You can of course freely browse all listings our website, filtering by any relevant categories and using our interactive map to find items near you. If you're looking for something specific or haven't quite found what you're looking for, then we suggest requesting an item so that others can contact you directly.
